Our expert consultants have held roles as the 'Head of Ethics, Compliance & Integrity' within government, a 'Partner' in a national forensic services firm, a 'Director' in an international forensic services firm, and former senior 'Detectives' in law enforcement. 


Our expert consultants hold tertiary qualifications in Law, Management, Psychology, Human Resources, Governance, Compliance, Fraud Control, Investigations, and are accredited Licensed investigators.

Experience

FairFact's work has included:

- Workplace investigations for private sector and government clients

-  Instructed by law firms to undertake fact-finding workplace investigations on behalf of their clients  

- Conducting workplace culture reviews for large and small employers

- Supporting a large government department by providing in-house ethical standards services, such as training, management of complaints, misconduct investigations, corrupt conduct investigations, development of investigation guides, instructions, policies, procedures, and templates

- Investigations advise on a retainer arrangement to support private sector clients HR/ER Teams who are limited with their capacity and capability 

- Investigations training for government and corporate clients on best practice investigation techniques, and modern investigative interviewing methodologies.

- Undertake several root cause analysis reviews for organisations, particularly within the health industry to understand and ascertain reasonings for systemic concerns. 

- Supporting an international not for profit by reviewing their current status complaints management and investigation governance across the APAC. Subsequently develop and implement a whole of organisation suite of governance material to align the entity in international best practice investigations, including the development of a whistleblower framework, staff training in investigations, and undertake a backlog of workplace and fraud related investigations.

- Assist local government agencies by undertaking Councillor Code of Conduct investigations as suspected conduct breaches pursuant to section 150K of the Local Government Act 2009 (Qld) 

-  Engaged by criminal lawyers to undertake investigations relevant to counter briefs of evidence to determine the existence of exculpatory evidence for their client/s 

- Supporting Boards and Executive Leadership Teams in managing sensitive investigations of systemic bullying and sexual harassment
